THE CATCHER BUILDING
Property developers Bmor instructed our design team to create an innovative show apartment for their new south east london development. The brief was to create an inspirational interior reflecting the vibrancy of the local area and the lifestyle it offers to their purchasers.
Our design team researched the local area and drew inspiration from the diverse street art and vivid colours of the local street markets.
The apartment was designed around an art loving young couple who enjoy cooking and photography. Unique pieces of artwork were curated, from Frida Kahlo to song lyrics and pieces from local peckham artists.
These striking colours found in the street art and markets were translated into the colour palette, creatively applied to the walls.
The industrial feel of the kitchen and bathrooms was reflected mainly in the lighting, black/brass accents of the furniture, and the shelving. A mix of materials and textures were used throughout from dark woods to oaks, brass to black metals, velvets and geometric prints.
The bold navy wall in the living room offers a dramatic backdrop for the colourful dynamic artwork and curated accessories.
Impactful patterns and prints feature throughout within the soft furnishings.
“Investa strikes again! Once again, Chris and the Investa team did us proud creating a beautiful show home at our Catcher building development in Peckham Rye. The colours and accented walls behind and above the beds were really special and suited our target buyers. Within days of the install we sold our show unit. Well done Vesta, great results and brilliant service.”
