FIELDERS QUARTER

THE BRIEF

The developer wanted us to create an energetic space with an element of luxe that appealed to first time buyers.

INSPIRATION

Part of the award-winning Barking Riverside redevelopment, Fielders Quarter is a two- bedroom apartment targeted at young professionals. Knowing this about the target audience, we combined vibrancy and luxe touches to create the perfect space to relax and entertain.

THE DESIGN

To ensure we created a showhome that was attractive to the potential buyer we made sure our design scheme struck the right balance between a young and vibrant space that also had an air of sophistication.

In the master bedroom we used soft tones, a muted colour palette and luxe fabrics to invoke a tranquil, relaxing feeling. While in the second bedroom we opted for a more energetic vibe with bolder colours and touches of gold.

On the walls of the living room we chose a neutral palette so we could use pops of colour throughout such as the striking yellow armchair and colourful sofa cushions. We also used a pared-back style sofa and combined it with a fun geometric rug and contemporary glass coffee table.

In the dining room we wanted to create the perfect spot for entertaining and hosting; the marble and brass dining table combined with the luxurious blue chairs add a feel of sophistication, whilst the velvet bench introduces a more relaxed atmosphere making it the perfect setting for both casual and formal gatherings.

The red mottled-effect feature wall in the hallway contrasts with the oversized artwork and teal velvet bench bringing energy to the small space, whilst also adding depth and style.
