We recently spoke with Julian Baker from BMOR to find out more about the Catcher Building, what his vision for the interiors of the showhome was, and how the interiors benefitted the success of the development.
So, tell us a little more about the development?
"The Catcher Building is located in the busy heart of metropolitan Peckham. The first phase of the project included the strip-out of an existing office building, formerly an old cinema, to create 23 new luxury apartments. Work on phase two of the Catcher Building ran con-currently to create an extra eight luxury units."

What was your vision for the showhome?
"The Catcher Building stands proudly at the heart of major regeneration and investment in the area and appeals to a wide audience from the first-time buyers to investors and people simply attracted to the individuality and culture the area brings."
“We wanted the showhome to be memorable, edgy, bright and creative and to appeal to the younger demographic.”
How did the interior design of the showhome benefit the success of the development, and what was your favourite thing about it?
"The showhome gave the development the identity it needed to attract the right buyers. We particularly loved the colours and accented walls behind and above the bed – they really stood out and captured the imaginations of our target buyers perfectly. We had great feedback from people viewing the showhome who picked up on the unique styling elements and within days of the install we sold our show unit!"
