THE BRIEF
To create a bold, vibrant and contemporary 3-bed showhome on a new development in Stratford-upon-Avon targeted at young families.
INSPIRATION
When putting the scheme together we made a conscious effort to reflect the warmth of a young, growing family home with countryside themes. We wanted to create an energetic and welcoming interior.
THE DESIGN
Throughout the house we used pops of colour to create a fun, social family space and chose contemporary furniture pieces for a modern feel. We also added accessories and plants to ensure the space felt homely and cosy.
In the living area the standout feature is the multi-functional desk area which is perfect for working from home and as a homework spot. It also doubles up as a smart shelving solution for books and trinkets.
We designed bedrooms 2 and 3 with teenage girls in mind so chose exciting wallpaper prints, vibrant textiles and contemporary headboards. We added elegant furniture pieces such as the monochrome drawers and statement mirror to create a ‘grown-up’ look that teenage girls prefer. We created a much calmer feel in the master bedroom with deep blue tones, textured wallpaper and soft luxurious velvets.
