LANDROW PLACE
THE BRIEF
Located in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, Landrow Place was part of a wider BTR project comprising of 250 apartments, two showhomes, a resident's lounge, multiple meetings rooms, a communal kitchen, and a roof terrace.
Working with JLL and Abrdn we were asked to design and deliver the furniture for all the amenity spaces.
INSPIRATION
We wanted to create a vibrant, design-led spaces featuring furnishings with an industrial theme paying homage to the location's metalworking history.
THE DESIGN
The communal areas needed to be functional and user-friendly while also being comfortable and cosy for residents.
We mixed leather upholstery with wooden furniture pieces and metal finishes to create an industrial feel. We ensured we used hardwearing fabrics and finishes for durability.
We transformed the resident’s lounge into a welcoming environment by introducing soft velvets and luxe details making it the perfect space to socialise together.
In the private meeting rooms we created calming spaces with smart furnishings.
