STRATFORD STUDIOS
THE BRIEF
As part of a wider BTR project we were instructed by JLL to complete the design and installation of the communal areas of this development, including a lounge, cinema area, a private reading corner, a dining and kitchen, and a work hub.
INSPIRATION
Stratford Studios is located within a diverse and energetic part of East London. When designing the spaces, we took inspiration from the local area’s vibrancy and green spaces, while adding touches to reflect the building’s industrial edge.
THE DESIGN
We created four zones for residents to work, socialise, and feel at home. These zones all have their own look and feel, and balance perfectly to create a cohesive space.
We combined masculine touches such as leather upholstery and wooden furniture to reflect the industrial feel of the property and paired them with softer, luxe details such as the blue velvet sofas and floral arrangements to create a welcoming feel. We also used bold colours to reflect the regeneration of the local area and metal touches as a further nod to the industrial surroundings.
