We were asked to create an aspirational showhome for a Grade II listed property in East Finchley. The designs are to complement the architecture whilst being contemporary and memorable.
Our design inspiration drew on the property’s classic and traditional style and we used classic yet contemporary elements throughout to compliment.
The stunning architecture and detail of Carmelite Place lent itself to grand furniture pieces and opulent finishes.
With its high ceilings and decorative wall beading the hallway to this property is the stand out feature. To complement the space’s feel we dressed a sleek console table with simple accessories and a floral arrangement to create an inviting welcome.
In the living and dining area we created an elegant and sophisticated space with wallpapered feature wall beading. We added striking artwork and unique accessories to add character.
In the master bedroom we used a botanical wallpaper and a luxurious headboard to create the feel of a boutique hotel. The warm plum olive tone from these are then carried through into the room’s textiles to create a cohesive look.
The second bedroom has a fresh and inviting feel to it. The feature wallpaper adds a contemporary feel and the neutral tones complement the existing finishes of the room.
Bedrooms three and four were designed with teenagers in mind with playful artwork and accessories and unique headboard designs to add character, texture, and an element of fun.
We used three emerald green bar stools to dress the kitchen and added a linear shelving unit styled with bar accessories to appeal to individuals who enjoy entertaining.
