THE BRIEF
The vision for the showhome was to create a space that buyers could immediately see themselves living in. Designed for first-time buyers, young professionals and couples, the apartment needed to feel modern, considered and approachable, reflecting the pace and character of contemporary London living.
Rather than simply furnishing the apartment, the aim was to create a home with a clear sense of identity, balancing style and practicality in a way that felt both aspirational and achievable.
INSPIRATION
Barking Riverside’s natural surroundings and industrial past became the foundation for the design. We drew on the area’s riverside setting and the heritage of Barking Power Station, combining industrial details with softer, contemporary elements to create a scheme with character.
Rust and green tones, tactile timber, black metal and layered textures bring depth throughout, whilst modern furniture and softer finishes keep the spaces feeling fresh and inviting. The result is a home that reflects its East London setting while giving buyers a sense of how they could make the space their own.
