TOLLGATE GREEN
THE BRIEF
To create a four bed showhome for young families drawn to the area for the nearby countryside and rural lifestyle.
INSPIRATION
Our inspiration for this project comes from Scandinavian designs and the location’s scenic parks, woodlands and history.
THE DESIGN
Our design focus for this project was to create a family-friendly space that was welcoming and homely for everyone. Throughout our scheme we used rustic woods to appeal to the property’s rural setting and contemporary accessories to appeal to a young audience.
A key element of designing this project was incorporating furniture pieces and soft furnishings to suit a busy family so we added the large corner sofa in the living room to provide ample room for the family and guests and we used a large dining table to fit the whole family plus any guests.
In the bedrooms we used a colour palette of soft hues and bright shades to create tranquil, relaxing spaces for the adults, and fun, vibrant spaces for the children to enjoy.
