THE BRIEF
To create an inspirational showhome design to capture the attention of young professionals looking to move to the area for its easy access into Central London and trendy neighbourhood.
INSPIRATION
Our inspiration for this apartment came from Battersea’s trendy and young demographic. We wanted to showcase the design led and sophisticated side of London living.
THE DESIGN
We wanted a scheme that would encapsulate a modern chic look with a luxurious edge and comprise of elegant fabrics, contemporary furniture pieces and a striking colour palette.
In the hallway we created a home office space to appeal to those now working from home more regularly or permanently. This featured industrial-style shelving dressed with books, plants, and trinkets, and was complemented by a bold yellow chair.
To continue the modern chic look, in the living area we opted for a clean, modern space with minimal pieces of furniture creating a balance of style and creativity with an industrial edge.
We used a sofa upholstered in a woven off-white fabric to complement the mid-blue feature wallpaper, and the striking patterned armchair was added to create a young and contemporary vibe that would appeal to a style-conscious buyer. We added brass and black metal details for sophistication, while the scatter cushions featured the colour yellow used throughout the showhome.
